I am finally here in Santa Cruz, CA! It is so beautiful! There are wonderful mountains right next to the beach. Oh goodness it's so so pretty! The weather is perfect. Is quite chilly in the morning but around 12 it starts to warm up very nicely. Ususally I have a light fleece on and then in the afternoon I wear a t-shirt and shorts and its pretty comfortable. We are about two blocks from the beach so its about a five minute walk down there and I ran down there the other day and it only took me a minute or two. So once you go down two blocks you hit the boardwalk which is the cutest little amusement park with rides and games and yummy food - and best of all it is right on the ocean. The point is... I have fallen in LOVE with California!
Anyways.. Before I head I out I wanted to share somethign that totally made my day today! Today we had a scavenger hunt and one of the places we had to go was down to the end of the warf. So we are on our way downt there when we hear this crazy barking noise. We see a group of people gather to the edge of the railing while pointing and "ooo"ing and "ahhh"ing. So of course we had to gather around the edge as well to see what all of the comotion was. This is what we saw...
It was amazing! We were so close we could touch them if we wanted to!
